A patient post RTA with Radiological evidence (CT) of Cervical Spine C1 C2 minimal Subluxation,
Also Mandibular fractures affecting both condyles. Awaiting MRI.
3 important Questions that I needed to give an answer to the Nursing staff were
How do we Achieve Cervical Stabilisation? (when Hard Collar not possible )
Can we log Roll this patient?
Do we need a spinal bed?
It is a good idea to have these thoughts ready for discussion with the spinal surgeons.
Any Opinion is welcome.
